Aloni is a whitewashed, Cycladic-style beach restaurant in Dhërmi, open since 2006, with a reed-shaded terrace of bougainvillea and rattan chairs that opens straight onto the Ionian. The kitchen is seafood-led and Italian-leaning, built around the daily catch, with linguine with clams, lobster pasta, grilled prawns and octopus as its staples.

Why We Love It

Lunch stretches easily into the afternoon here, feet almost on the pebbles, a plate of grilled seafood and a cold glass against the blue of the Ionian. Come evening, lanterns and the moon over the water make it quietly romantic.
