About

Tradita e Beratit is a traditional Albanian restaurant inside a restored Ottoman-era stone house in the Gorica quarter of Berat, part of a small boutique hotel opened in 2022. Meals are built around shared wooden boards of Berat specialities, with meze, home-style meat dishes, local wine and raki, served in vaulted stone rooms or on a string-lit terrace above the old town rooftops.

Why We Love It

The terrace catches the last light over Berat's white houses and the castle hill, and the boards of meze that land on the table are generous, homely and clearly made in-house. It is an easy place to settle in for a long evening with a carafe of local wine after a day of climbing the old town's cobbles.
