Fresku is a long-running Tirana restaurant, open since 1992, set in a grand villa-style building with formal dining rooms, a garden terrace and a large banquet hall. The menu spans Italian and Albanian cooking, from pizza and fresh pasta to grilled meats and Greek-style salads, and it serves breakfast through to dinner every day.
Why We Love It
There is a reassuring old-school polish here: crisp white tablecloths, waiters who have worked the room for years and a tank of goldfish glowing beside the tables. It is the kind of place Tirana families return to for Sunday lunch, and the shrimp linguine shows why.
