Idromeno is an upscale restaurant in central Shkodër with a softly lit modern dining room of pale green banquettes, white tablecloths and ring-shaped ceiling lights. The kitchen cooks in a Mediterranean and French-inspired style, with dry-aged cuts carved on wooden boards, beef carpaccio, fresh pasta and pistachio-crusted fish, followed by plated desserts.
Why We Love It
Dinner unfolds at an unhurried pace, with the steak arriving sliced on a board and the waiters quietly refilling glasses before you notice. It is the room Shkodër books for an anniversary or a long evening with friends, and on some nights a violinist plays between the tables.
