Pastarella is an Italian and seafood restaurant on the upper floor of a tower on the Taulantia seafront promenade in Durrës, with white tablecloths, floor-to-ceiling windows and a terrace looking over the palms to the Adriatic. The menu is built around fresh pasta and the day's catch, from tagliatelle with prawns and grilled octopus to whole sea bass, backed by a considered wine list.

Why We Love It

The room is calm and elegant, with soft music and the sea filling every window, which makes it one of the nicer places in Durrës for a slow dinner for two. The seafood pasta is generous and properly seasoned, and the sunset over the promenade does the rest.
