Meison Bistro is a Mediterranean restaurant on Rruga Taulantia in Durrës, run by the same family since 1992 and open daily for lunch and dinner. The kitchen buys from local fishermen and farmers each morning and turns it into grilled whole fish, mussels, seafood pasta and simple meat dishes, served on a summer terrace or in a warmly lit room in winter.

Why We Love It

Whole fish arrives simply grilled with lemon and vegetables, the pasta is generous and the olive tree by the door tells you the place has been here a while. It is the kind of Durrës lunch spot you keep coming back to because nothing is fussy and the seafood is fresh that morning.
