About

Tribe is an upscale restaurant on the Murat Toptani pedestrian street in central Tirana, a few steps from the Castle and the Clock Tower, with executive chef Juli Zguro at the helm. The kitchen centres on dry-aged meat and fish, oysters, shellfish and caviar alongside vegetarian plates and handmade desserts, backed by a cellar of around two hundred wine labels with a strong Albanian selection.

Why We Love It

The steaks come out of a dedicated dry-ageing room and land on the board with the kind of crust and depth that is still rare in Tirana. Under the palms and brass hoops of the covered courtyard, with a bar that glows after dark, it works as well for a serious business lunch as for a long celebratory dinner.
