About

Oda Garden is a traditional Albanian restaurant beside Tirana's Pazari i Ri market, founded in 2005 by the actor and director Paskal Prifti to keep the country's folk cooking and hospitality alive. Guests eat in a large courtyard garden shaded by lemon trees and strung with lights, or at low tables in a reconstructed oda, on dishes such as lamb baked in the saç, tavë dheu, village pies and house yoghurt.

Why We Love It

Dinner here unfolds under lemon branches and fairy lights, with clay pots arriving straight from the oven and a glass of homemade raki to open the evening. It feels like being welcomed into a family's courtyard in the old city rather than sitting in a restaurant.
