Lizz is an all-day Mediterranean restaurant in a residential quarter of Tirana, with a warm, plant-filled dining room and a small patio. The day starts with brunch plates such as berry-topped pancakes, poached eggs on toast and avocado tartines, moving on to grilled steaks, burgers and Mediterranean mains as the evening comes in.

Why We Love It

A stack of pancakes buried in strawberries and blueberries, honey still dripping from the spoon, is a very good reason to linger over a late breakfast here. The cooking is careful and the room is calm, the kind of neighbourhood spot regulars keep to themselves.
