Lezet is a Turkish restaurant on the Murat Toptani pedestrian walk in central Tirana, open from early morning until late. The kitchen turns out generous Turkish breakfast spreads, wood-fired pide, kebabs and slow-cooked casseroles, followed by pistachio baklava and künefe with tea served in traditional tulip glasses, under a covered terrace strung with lights.

Why We Love It

A Turkish breakfast here, with a dozen small plates crowding the patterned tablecloth and a copper pot of tea steaming beside them, is the kind of slow morning the pedestrian street was made for. Come back in the evening for pide straight from the oven and a warm slab of künefe.
