Kapiten Mir Zoti is a nautical-themed seafood restaurant beside the Dry Lake on the edge of Tirana. The kitchen works with fresh fish and shellfish, from marinated anchovies and fried small fry to grilled catch, seafood pasta and generous shared platters, served indoors or on a terrace looking across the water to the mountains.
Why We Love It
A table on the terrace at dusk, with the lake going still and a plate of anchovies and cold white wine arriving, feels a long way from the city centre a few minutes away. The portions are generous and the staff treat regulars and first-timers with the same easy warmth.
