About

Fishop Tirana is a fish restaurant near the centre of Tirana, the original of a small Albanian seafood group that has been running since 2008 and now has branches on the coast and in Prishtina. The day's catch is laid out on ice at the entrance and turned into fried mixed seafood, seafood risotto and pasta, raw oysters and grilled fish, served in a brick-walled room with a house white on the table.

Why We Love It

The fish counter by the door sets the tone, and a generous platter of crisp fried squid, shrimp and small fish is the natural way to start. It is a busy, easygoing neighbourhood seafood place where the pasta arrives in the pan it was cooked in and nobody minds if you linger.
